What is this?
Barney Feist and Tim Holland have agreed to skipper each yawl for the Frostbites this fall. The new MWR policy is that they don't charge us for boat usage for SMSA and other local races. Sign-ups are still preferred and there is an 8 person crew maximum. No racing experience necessary, club members have first priority over guests. Contact the skipper if there is any doubt whether there's room on the boat.
We'll get the boat prepped and be underway by 12 Noon. There is only one class of racers and no spinnakers are allowed.
We strongly recommend you have the following with you: Foul weather gear & layered clothing in case the sun is out, or not. Temperatures can vary widely during November. Also a Type V PFD is recommended, regardless it's the club's policy that all Frostbite race crews will have their PFDs on during the race.
