Early/Late-season race series sponsored by SMSA.  It may not be warm, but it's often some of the best wind of the year.  (And it's usually not really that cold, either.)
Show time 1130 boat departs at 1200.  Back at the dock before dark.  Bring your lunch or snacks, water, and layered clothing including foul weather gear.  Sailing gloves highly recommended.  This is a rain or shine event:  unless cancelled by the skipper, the race is on and your crew members are counting on you.  Please cancel your reservation if you can't make it (profile, event history).
It is important to register for these events on the website so that everyone can see that there are enough people registered to conduct the event.
Flat $10 per person racing fee will be charged to your Club Express account 2-4 weeks after the event.  Make no payment when registering, no payments collected at the event.  Up to two guests per member welcome.  Contact the skipper to see if we can accommodate more than two on any particular day.
SMSA race rules for this series include no spinnaker, and everyone wears a life jacket in a manner that is visible.
If you have never raced before, or if you have never been out on the yawls, please contact the skipper before registering.  Otherwise all are welcome.
